Press bending

Press bending in detail

With press bending, the thin glass is heated between two tools and then pressed. In contrast to the other forming processes, the material thickness can be specifically adjusted in press bending.

In gravity slumping and vacuum-assisted slumping, the glass thickness remains constant throughout the entire process.

We develop individual solutions for your application in the field of process engineering. Our process knowledge along the entire manufacturing chain helps us to design the optimal process. Press bending is part of our 4-in-1 plant technology.
