Vitrum Technologies has extensive experience in the hot forming of chalcogenide glasses. Using our proprietary machinery, we manufacture complex optical geometries such as high-precision aspheres, freeform optics, and domes with reproducible series production quality.

Our specially developed system technology enables the cost-effective production of sophisticated components in varying quantities.

Chalcogenide glasses offer a high-performance technical alternative to germanium for numerous infrared applications. At the same time, their use forms the basis for a completely European and germanium-independent value chain – from the production of the raw material to the finished optics.

Components manufactured by Vitrum are used, among other things, in night vision devices, target sensors, and lenses for drones, as well as in industrial infrared systems.
